Some new earrings, originally commissioned by my sister....she wanted something "simple and elegant to wear everyday...y'a know, the kind of earring that makes you feel like a boho hippie classical violinist standing on a mountain playing Leonard Cohen songs with a rainbow in the sky and a red tail hawk circling overhead...." huh?.... ? really?
ok, I am keeping it simple, sistah!
1 3/8 " long, 100% recycled sterling silver, 5 mm iron pyrite faceted beads, carved as usual in beeswax and cast using the ancient method of cire perdue
I just love the pyrite with the silver, like pirates gold. You just might need to steal a pair from me!
I made a couple of pairs to share the simplicity!...they will be in my shop and my etsy store in a couple of hours...must take Henry out for his evening constitutional first!
